Shawnell Russell is Corporate Counsel of Peakstone Realty Trust. Shawnell is responsible for advising and assisting Peakstone Realty Trust with its corporate legal matters, including securities matters, general corporate operations and Board matters.
Shawnell joined Peakstone Realty Trust in 2019. Prior to joining Peakstone Realty Trust, Shawnell was an Associate in the civil litigation practices of Lederer & Nojima, LLP, Nemecek & Cole APC and Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP.
Shawnell earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a Literature Emphasis and Minor in Sociology from Loyola Marymount University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where she was a Writer for the Moot Court Honors Program and an Associate Editor for the Southwestern Journal of International Law.
Shawnell is a member of LACBA and the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association and is admitted to practice before all California State Courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
